VA WORK STUDY PART-TIME JOBS
Students who are receiving VA benefits for attending school at a rate of at least three-quarter time under Chapter 30, 31, 32, 35, or 1606 may be eligible for part-time employment with the VA Work-Study Program.
The pay is at the current federal or state minimum wage, whichever is higher, and is not taxable. Students may work up to 25 hours times the number of weeks in the semester, 400 in fall or spring and 200 in summer. The work schedule can usually be adjusted to be compatible with the class schedule.
