Undergraduate Applications
U.S. citizens/permanent residents
Materials to be mailed once the on-line application is submitted:
Freshmen
- Official high school transcript reflecting at least six semesters of work completed, a grade point average computed on an unweighted 4.0 scale, and a rank in class.
- Official copies of your ACT and/or SAT scores.
- An official transcript from any collegiate institution you have attended as a concurrently enrolled student.
- Official copies of any AP or CLEP test scores
New Transfer Students
- If you have fewer than 24 semester hours of college level work, submit an official copy of your high school transcript and your ACT or SAT scores.
- Official transcripts from each collegiate institution attended.
Undergraduate Applicants for Readmission
- Submit official transcripts from each institution attended since leaving OU.
- If you have any transcripts outstanding from your previous enrollment, you will need to submit those too.
Concurrent High School Enrollment (enrollment in high school and OU)
- Submit a completed Concurrent High School Enrollmetn Request Form signed by your principal, high school counselor and one of your parents;
- a high school transcript
- ACT or SAT scores

Graduate Applications
U.S. citizens/permanent residents
Materials to be mailed once the on-line application is submitted:
Applicants who have never attended the University of Oklahoma
- Official transcripts from each collegiate institution attended.
- Submit the Graduate Program Application. Many graduate programs require applicants to complete a departmental application and submit other supporting materials, such as GRE scores and letters of recommendation. For more information about these requirements, you must contact the graduate program to which you are applying.
OU Graduating Seniors
- Submit the Graduate Program Application. Many graduate programs require applicants to complete a departmental application and submit other supporting materials, such as GRE scores and letters of recommendation. For more information about these requirements, you must contact the graduate program to which you are applying.
- Submit Official Transcript(s) if You Attended Other Accredited Colleges or Universities. As a University of Oklahoma graduating senior, we will have access to your final OU transcript. Therefore, you do not need to submit an OU transcript with your application to an OU graduate program.
- IF YOU HAVE ATTENDED OTHER COLLEGES OR UNIVERSITIES WHILE YOU WERE ENROLLED AT OU, you must submit official transcript(s) with your application. Please contact the school(s) you have attended and ask them to send an official transcript
Applicants for Readmission
- Submit official transcripts from each institution attended since leaving OU.

Non-Degree Applications

Undergraduate Visitor/Special
- Official transcripts from each collegiate institution attended.
- If you have fewer than 24 semester hours of college level work, submit an official copy of your high school transcript and your ACT or SAT scores.
Graduate Visitor
- Send a Letter of Good Standing. You must also submit a letter of good standing from the dean of your home institution s Graduate College.
Graduate Unclassified
- Official Transcripts from each collegiate institution attended.

International Applications
Non-U.S. citizens/permanent residents overseas or in the U.S.
Materials to be mailed once the on-line application is submitted:
Undergraduate
- An official TOEFL score report directly from the Educational Testing Service or official IELTS score report, or satisfy the English proficiency requirement in one of the other ways listed in English Proficiency Requirements.
- Bank statements and letters of financial support which are less than 90 days old to verify your financial support.
- Official, complete academic credentials (i.e., marksheets, degree certificates, transcripts, etc.).
- If you are in the U.S. at another school, have your international student adviser complete our Transfer Recommendation Form.
- If you have a passport, please include a clear photocopy of the biographic page and expiration date. If dependents will accompany you to OU, provide clear copies of your dependents' passport biographic page and the expiration date, along with marriage and birth certificates, as applicable, to verify your family relationship. If you are currently in the U.S., also provide a copy of the page from your passport showing your current U.S. visa.
Graduate
